Important Information
Check-in and Check-out Procedures
- Check-in is after 4pm and check-out is by 10am.
Property Access
- Entry to the home is via the parking area, directly into the lower-level den.
- The driveway is paved but uphill. The town of Sugar Mountain requires 4WD/AWD or chains during snow or ice, which can be expected during November-April. Plan accordingly.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains are recommended during winter (November-April). No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
Policies and Rules
- No smoking allowed in the home. No trace of smoking to be left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book or digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy (10 guests) allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. The person reserving must sign the agreement and be present for the reserved dates.
- No events allowed.
- Children allowed.
Fees and Payments
- Firewood may be purchased for an additional $25/night plus tax. This includes two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a firestarter.
- This home allows up to 2 mature, well-trained dogs with an additional pet rent of $25.00 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.
Parking Information
- Free parking is provided. The driveway is paved but uphill. 4WD/AWD or chains are required during winter conditions (November-April).
Utilities and Amenities Access
- The kitchen is well-stocked with utensils and cooking basics. Stove, oven, dishwasher, and high-speed internet are provided.
- A starter set of paper products is provided: one roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few dishwasher tablets, laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and makeup remover cloths. These are enough for one or two nights.
- Towels and bed linens are provided.
- Laundry basics, including a washing machine and dryer, are available.
- We do not provide hair dryers.
Safety and Emergency Information
- This home has external security cameras. No cameras are on the deck, hot tub area, or inside the home.
- Smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector provided.
